Low level: you have no Spanish knowledge Intermediate level: You know some words and phrases and write very short sentences. Intermediate High: You can maintain a short conversation, write short sentences, and understand a Spanish native speaker when asks you a question, but you find it difficult to answer the question with a complete sentence.
